EAL(English as an Additional Language) [ 英語サポートプログラム ]

At TIS, equal access to learning opportunities is fundamental, and this commitment extends to our EAL students. Offering comprehensive support for Grades 1–10, our balanced and flexible EAL programme reflects the individual needs of each student. Providing support within an empathetic framework, the programme takes place both within and outside regular classrooms. It employs strategies that enable EAL students to successfully access the mainstream curriculum and reach their full academic potential.

TISでは、英語を母語としないGrade 1〜10の生徒を対象に、一人ひとりの英語力や学習状況に応じたきめ細やかなサポートを提供しています。(G11-12の生徒にはEALは適用されません）
通常授業内での支援と、個別・少人数での英語指導を柔軟に組み合わせ、英語力そのものだけでなく、「英語で理解し、考え、表現する力」を育成します。生徒が安心して授業に参加し、段階的に自立して学べるよう支援することで、それぞれの可能性を最大限に引き出すことを目指しています。
