Vision Statement

At TIS, we nurture confident, compassionate, and independent learners within a close and supportive community. We aim to build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy through intentionally designed, inquiry-based learning that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful risk-taking. Through inquiry-driven approaches, we aspire students to take ownership of their learning while growing as Communicators, Knowledgeable thinkers, Risk-takers, Responsible citizens, and Open-minded individuals - our TIS 5 Stars - reflecting learning that extends beyond academics.
Guided by global educational standards and IB principles, we value the development of the whole child - intellectually, socially, emotionally, and ethically - promoting well-being and an understanding of perspectives beyond oneself.

TISでは、温かく支え合うコミュニティの中で、自信を持ち、思いやりがあり、自立して学ぶ生徒を育てています。
本校では、探究型の学びを大切にしながら、好奇心や批判的思考、そして挑戦する姿勢を育み、読み書きや計算といった基礎的な力をしっかりと身につけていきます。生徒一人ひとりが主体的に学びに取り組み、自分の考えを深め、学びのオーナーシップを持つことを目指しています。
また、生徒たちがコミュニケーター、知識を活かして考える人、挑戦する人、責任感ある人、そして多様な価値観を尊重する人として成長することを大切にしています。これらは「TIS 5 Stars」として、本校が大切にしている学びの姿を表しています。
TISは、国際的な教育基準とIBの理念に基づき、知的・社会的・情緒的・倫理的な側面を含めた「子ども全体の成長」を重視しています。生徒の心身の健やかな成長を大切にしながら、多様な視点を理解し、世界とつながる力を育んでいます。
