PRIMARY [ 初等科 ]

TIS Primary is an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) school, where students learn as part of a diverse and welcoming international community. Through inquiry, collaboration, and hands-on experiences, students are encouraged to be curious, explore ideas, and make connections across their learning.
Our Programme of Inquiry connects math, science, language, social studies, the arts, physical education, and social-emotional learning, with instruction differentiated to support each student. Technology is integrated into learning as students develop the skills and confidence they need for Secondary School and beyond.　With a strong focus on student agency, students are encouraged to make choices, take ownership of their learning, and grow as confident, capable members of the TIS community.

TIS初等科は、国際バカロレア初等教育プログラム（IB PYP）認定校です。子どもたちの旺盛な好奇心を出発点に、探究・協働・体験を中心とした学びを実践。算数、理科、言語、社会、アート、体育などを教科の枠を越えてつなげ、実社会との関わりを考えながら学びを深めます。一人ひとりの理解度や個性に合わせた学習とテクノロジーの活用を通して、自ら考え、選択し、行動する力を育み、中高等科、そしてその先の未来につながる力を身につけます。
