School Trips [ 充実した校外学習 ]

At Tohoku International School, students are able to apply their learning beyond the classroom. Teachers lead field trips throughout the Sendai area, enabling students to learn more about the region through firsthand experiences.

Community Outreach [ 地域と密着したコミュニティ活動 ]

Led by the Student Council, TIS students are active within the local community, organizing activities such as beach cleanups and an annual food drive, through which students collect and donate food and other supplies to people in need.

生徒会を中心に、ビーチクリーンやフードドライブなど、地域社会に貢献する活動に積極的に取り組んでいます。

ASA [ 多彩な放課後プログラム ]

An After-School Activity (ASA) program is offered throughout the year. Students can pursue a variety of interests, including basketball, gardening, media, programming, running, debate, and board games. A school bus provides transportation after ASA.

年間を通して放課後活動（ASA）を実施。スポーツ、ガーデニング、メディア、プログラミング、ディベートなど、多彩な活動を通して興味や可能性を広げます。

School Events [ 楽しいスクールイベント ]

School Picnics, Sports Day, Fall Festival, Culture Night, the Christmas Concert, and many other activities bring students, families, and community members together throughout the year. These colorful and enjoyable events are an important part of life at TIS.

Guest Speakers [ ゲストスピーカー ]

To broaden students’ perspectives, TIS regularly hosts guest speakers who share their knowledge and experiences on global issues, social issues, and career opportunities. Guests include lawyers, authors, professional musicians, scientists, journalists, business leaders, and professors from a variety of disciplines.
